Mountain Zebra National Park outside Cradock in the Eastern Cape, celebrated its 80th birthday on July 31, by unveiling new accommodation.
There are two luxury rock chalets accommodating two guests per room, and six two-sleeper cottages.
The new accommodation is in the top region of the rest camp, inside the reserve. It costs R13.5 million for renovations and upgraded infrastructure and it took 12 months to complete. Bookings will open around October 1, once the lodge has officially opened.
